George was born in 1777 in Newlin, Chester Co, Penn.  George's father was Charles RODEBACK and his mother was Phebe (Phoebe) TRYON.  His paternal grandfather is RODEBACK. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Charles, John, Tryon, Peter, Margaret, Phebe and Mary.  He died at the age of 81 on October 29th, 1858.
