Almaric was born about 1150 in Of, Ryhale, Rutlandshire, Or Of, Stanley, Gloucestershire, England.  Almaric's father is Thurston Le DESPENCER and his mother is Mrs-Thurston Le DESPENCER.  His paternal grandparents are William Talvas MONTGOMERY DESPENCER and Alix Ala De BURGUNDY. He had four brothers named Walter, Hugh, Galfridus (Geoffrey) Le and Thomas.  He died after 1189.
