Karolina was born on February 27th, 1826 in Hattem, Holland.  Karolina's father was Carel ROUW and her mother was Anna Elisabeth Reijneke.  Her paternal grandparents were Carel ROUW and Seytje Koerse; her maternal grandparents are Jan Poulus Reijneke and Antje van Doesburg. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Carel, Jan, Jan, Jan Lourens Koerse, Willem, Carlina, Annas and Karolina.  She was the seventh oldest of the nine children.  She died at just 5 days old on March 4th, 1826 in Hattem, Holland.
