William De was born about 1018 in Of, St Germain Mntgm, Normandy, France.  William De's father is Roger De MONTGOMERY and his mother is Josceline De PONTEAUDEMER.  His maternal grandmother is Senfrie (Sainfrie) De CREPON. He had four brothers named Hugh De, Robert De, Gilbert De and Roger De.  He was the third oldest of the five children.  He died before 1047.
