Abigail was born on September 26th, 1618 in Halifax, Yorkshire, England and her baptism took place on April 26th, 1618 in , Halifax, Yorkshire, England.  Abigail's father was Matthew MITCHELL and her mother was Sarah Or Susan BUTTERFIELD.  Her paternal grandparents are Thomas MITCHELL and Elizabeth CLAY; her maternal grandfather was Benjamin BUTTERFIELD and her maternal grandmother is Mrs Ann BUTTERFIELD. She had seven brothers and ten sisters, named David, Jonathan, Matthew, Jonathan, John, Nathan, Abraham, Dorothy, David, Martha, Jonathan, Susannah, Matthew, Hannah, Susanna, Elizabeth and Mary Sarah.  She died at the age of 103 on March 15th, 1722 in New Haven, New Haven, Ct.  Her burial was in South Ouram, Halifax, York County, England.
