Johann was born on January 3rd, 1797 in Bonneberg and his baptism took place on January 8th, 1797 in Valdorf ev.  Johann's father was Johann Casper Flesner and his mother is Christina Sophie Marie Brandt.  His paternal grandparents were Johann Christoph Flesner and Anna Catharine Gieselmann; his maternal grandparents are Johann Christopher Brand and Anna Margaretha Honxaus.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 60 on December 16th, 1857 in Rehme.
