Adriannus was born on June 19th, 1725 in Lubbeek.  Adriannus' father was Guilielmus  Ons and his mother was Maria De Ruijter.  His paternal grandparents were Adam Ons and Anna Vranckx. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Petrus, Joannes, Gregorius, Guilielmus , Arnoldus, Anna Maria, Maria-Catharina and Anna Maria.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.
