Ralph was born in year 1763 in St Enoder, Cornwall and was baptised on May 2nd, 1763.  Ralph's father was Steven Bullock and his mother was Frances Vivian.  His paternal grandparents were Edmund Bullock and Mary Vivian; his maternal grandparents were  Ralph Vivian and  Joan Rogers.  He was the sixth of eight children.  He had three brothers and four sisters, named Stephen, James, <Unknown>, Ann, Joan, Jane and Elizabeth.
