Elspet Laing

Elspet was born in 1865 in Duffus, Elginshire. Elspet's father was William Laing and her mother was Elspet McHardy. Her paternal grandparents were John Laing and Elspet Cobban. She had two brothers and a sister, named John, James and Jessie. She was the oldest of the four children.
