János' father was Ferenc Asbóth and his mother was Mária Rajkó.  His paternal grandparents were Mihály Asbóth and Julianna Soós. He had a brother and two sisters, named József, Julianna and Terézia.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He died at 1 months old on June 18th, 1902 in Aba Fejér vm.¹
