Ricardo was born on December 23rd, 1916 in San Martin - Buenos Aires.  Ricardo's father was Francisco Domingo Eugenio Poletti and his mother was Angela Gayetana Lauria.  His paternal grandparents were Juan Bautista Poletti and Martina Barindelli; his maternal grandparents were Mariano Lauria and Carolina Coradino. He had four brothers and a sister, named Juan, Antonio, Francisco, Francisco and Martina.  He was the youngest of the six children.  He died at the age of 16 on July 16th, 1933 in San Martin - Buenos Aires.
