Francisca was born on November 4th, 1693 in Arrancudiaga.  Francisca's father was Juan Goicoechea (Belaunca) and her mother was Ysabela Arezmendi (Aranguren).  Her paternal grandparents were Santiago Goicohechea (Uribarri) and Francisca Belaunca (Agirre). She had a brother and three sisters, named Juan , Maria Cruz, Josepha and Antonia.  She was the oldest of the five children.
