Thomas Appleby

Thomas was born in 1844 in Howden on Tyne, Northumberland. Thomas' father was George Appleby and his mother was Grace Bilton. His paternal grandparents were James Appleby and Ann Bell; his maternal grandparents are Thomas Bilton and Margaret Stoker. He has three brothers and two sisters, named George, John, William, Mary Ann and Elizabeth. He is the fourth oldest of the six children.
