George Bilton Appleby

George was born in 1839 in Newcastle Upon Tyne. George's father was George Appleby and his mother was Grace Bilton. His paternal grandparents were James Appleby and Ann Bell; his maternal grandparents are Thomas Bilton and Margaret Stoker. He has three brothers and two sisters, named William, John, Thomas, Elizabeth and Mary Ann. He is the second oldest of the six children.
