Miles, known as Miles, was born in 1839 in Wilkinson Co, Georgia.  Miles' father was George BRACK and his mother was Didemma CANNON.  His maternal grandparents were Nathaniel CANNON and Frances SUMNER. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Jacob, Eli, George, Franklin, Elizabeth and Dorinda.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.
