Sarah Kathryn "Kate" was born on February 1st, 1866 in Missouri. Sarah Kathryn "Kate"'s father was John O Stout and her mother was Flora Stout. Her maternal grandparents were Wm. B. Dodson and Sarah A. Dodson. She had nine brothers and thirteen sisters, named Harrison, William Henry "Willie", John Sherman, John Sherman, John Sherman, Alfred Ashberry, Reuben, Infant son, Clarence Oliver, Adelia Ann, Florence Alice, Phebe F., Ida B., Emma, Launa Leona, Babe, Unknown, Bessie Cora Lily May, Eva Carie Angeline, Ethel, Nellie and Clara L.. She was the sixth oldest of the twenty-three children. She had two half-sisters named Rosa Ethel and Nellie Jane. She died at the age of 61 in 1927.-
