She had nine brothers and thirteen sisters, named Harrison, William Henry "Willie", John Sherman, John Sherman, John Sherman, Alfred Ashberry, Reuben, Infant son, Clarence Oliver, Adelia Ann, Florence Alice, Phebe F., Sarah Kathryn "Kate", Ida B., Emma, Launa Leona, Babe, Unknown, Bessie Cora Lily May, Eva Carie Angeline, Ethel and Clara L.. She is the third youngest of the twenty-three children. She had two half-sisters named Rosa Ethel and Nellie Jane.-
