John Byrd

John was born in 1844. John's father is Samuel William Byrd and his mother is Phoebe Laymance. His paternal grandparents were William Byrd and Hannah Thornton. He had three brothers and five sisters, named William H, James P, Issac, Margaret J, Mary E, Sarah, Mahala J and Hannah. He is the third oldest of the nine children.
