He had six half-brothers and eight half-sisters, named Charles D, Marcellus W, Richard Simpson, Edward, John Christopher, James E, Mary Elizabeth "Betty", Virginia Angeline, Eunice John, Susan E.V, Sarah Jane "Sally", Ella, Martha A "Matt" and Isabella Catherine. He died at the age of 38 on February 3rd, 1909 in Marshall, Mississippi, USA.-
