Notes for JOHN BIRCH LAND: 25.2.1841. John Birch Land son of William Land of the City of York, combmaker apprentice to William Haxby of the same city, Whitesmith for seven years by Indenture, dated 1st February inst.
3rd July, 1858. No.2 Belle Vue Street, Heslington Road, excellent rosewood sitting room furniture bedroom effects and kitchen utensils. Mr. James Walker begs most respectfully to announce that he has received instructions from Mr. J. B. Land (in consequence of him leaving York) to sell by auction without reserve, on Tuesday next the 6th July 1858 upon the premises, No 2, Belle Vue Street all the good and useful household furniture, sleeping room requisites, culinary utensils etc. etc. Also a capital Sea Chest very complete with zinc furniture, slides, etc. (Weighton maker, Woolwich). sailors hammock, etc.,etc. For particulars see bills in circulation.
