Frederick William Land

Frederick William was born in 1836 in YORK North Yorkshire England. Frederick William's father is William Land and his mother is Elizabeth Birch. His paternal grandparents are William Land and Julia Scott. He has five brothers and a sister, named Robert, George Tasker, John Birch, Charles, William Scot and Margaret. He is the youngest of the seven children.

He married ELIZABETH. She was born August 24, 1840 in Penshaw, Durham., and died December 13, 1910.

  In memory of our eldest son Capt. W. F. Land who was lost in the North Atlantic by the foundering of the SS. Croft of Newcastle with all hands in the January gale 1899 aged 33.
