George Petyt

George was born in December 1757 in Skipton, Yorkshire, England. George's father was Luke Petyt and his mother was Ann Smith. His paternal grandparents were William Petyt and Mary Day. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William, Edward, Luke, Ann, Sarah and Mary. He was the sixth oldest of the seven children. He had two half-sisters named Jane and Mary. He died at 10 months old in October 1758.
