John Pettyt

John was born in 1655 in Cawder, Snaygill, Yorkshire, England. John's father was John Petyt and his mother was Martha Airton. His paternal grandparents were Anthony Pettyt and Mary Jowett. He had five brothers and a sister, named John, Anthony, Christopher, William, Thomas and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 48 in May 1703 in Skipton, Yorkshire, England.
