William G Petty

William G was born in 1871 in Keighley, Yorkshire, England.¹ William G's father was Robert Petty and his mother was Jane Goldsborough. His paternal grandparents were Richard Petty and Sarah (Petty). He had three brothers and four sisters, named James, Walter, Frederick R, Sarah, Fanny, Edith and Annie M. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
