James Edgar Petty

James Edgar was born in September 1895 in Giggleswick, Settle, Yorkshire, England.¹ James Edgar's father was John Petty and his mother was Annie (Petty). His paternal grandparents were Stephen Petty and Isabella Peacock. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William, Philip John, Frederick H, Reginald, Elizabeth and Isabel. He was the fifth oldest of the seven children.
