Herbert Petty

Herbert was born in 1882 in Shipley, Yorkshire, England.¹ Herbert's father was Charles Petty and his mother was Elizabeth Thackrah. His paternal grandparents were George Petty and Hannah Brewer. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Willie, George, Sarah, Alice and Annie. He was the oldest of the six children.
