David Petty

David was born on January 31st, 1790 in Shipton By Thorpe, Yorkshire, England.¹ David's father was David Petty and his mother was Mary Raper. His paternal grandparents were David Petty and Elizabeth Grainger. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, William, Mathew, Betty, Anne and Anne. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 64 on March 11th, 1854 in Shipton By Thorpe, Yorkshire, England.¹
