James Newiss

James was born in 1832 in Yorkshire, England. James' father was Robert Newis and his mother was Sara (Newhouse). His paternal grandfather was Robert Newhouse. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Joseph, Ellen and Jane. He was the youngest of the five children.
