Ethel Newiss

Ethel was born in 1882 in Leeds, Yorkshire, England.¹ Ethel's father was Thomas Newiss and her mother was Ann Roberts. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Newiss and Leah Brummill. She had a brother and three sisters, named Joseph, Hellie, Emily and Laura. She was the third oldest of the five children.
