Emily Newiss

Emily was born in 1880 in Leeds, Yorkshire, England.¹ Emily's father was Thomas Newiss and her mother was Ann (Newiss). Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Newis and Leah (Newis). She had a brother and three sisters, named Joseph, Hellie, Ethel and Laura. She was the second oldest of the five children.
