Alice Birdsall

Alice was born in 1890 in Stutton, Yorkshire, England.¹ Alice's father was George Birdsall and her mother was Mary Ann Newiss. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Newis and Mary Gow. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Lewis, Albert Edward, Infant, Annie, Clara, Hilda Ellen and Ethel Louisa. She was the third oldest of the eight children.
