Sancha was born on September 21st, 1154.  Sancha's father was King Alfonso The 7. of The Castilian House of Burgundy and her mother was Queen Consort Berengaria of House Barcelona.  Her paternal grandparents were Count Raymond of The Castilian House of Burgundy and Empress Urraca of House Jiménez; her maternal grandparents were Count Ramon Berenguer The 3. (The Great) of House Barcelona and Douce The 1. (Gévaudan). She had two brothers named Sancho The 3. and Ferdinand The 2..  She was the youngest of the three children.  She died at the age of 54 on November 9th, 1208.
