Ælfthryth was born about 0877.  Ælfthryth's father was King Alfred (The Great) of House Wessex and her mother was Queen Consort Ealhswith.  Her paternal grandparents were King Æthelwulf of House Wessex and Queen Consort Osburh. She had a brother named The Elder.  She was the younger of the two children.  She died on June 7th, 0929.
