William The 2. was born on December 6th, 1792.  William The 2.'s father was King William The 1. of House Orange-Nassau and his mother was Queen Consort Wilhelmine of House Hohenzollern.  His paternal grandparents were Stadtholder William The 5. of House Orange-Nassau and Princess Consort Wilhelmin of House Hohenzollern; his maternal grandparents were King Frederick William The 2. of House Hohenzollern and Queen Consort Frederica Louisa of House Hesse-Darmstadt. He had a brother named Frederick.  He was the older of the two children.  He died at the age of 56 on March 17th, 1849.
