Wilhelmine was born on November 18th, 1774.  Wilhelmine's father was King Frederick William The 2. of House Hohenzollern and her mother was Queen Consort Frederica Louisa of House Hesse-Darmstadt.  Her paternal grandparents were Prince Augustus William of House Hohenzollern and Duchess Luise of House Welf; her maternal grandparents were Landgrave Louis The 9. of House Hesse-Darmstadt and Countess Palatine Caroline of House Palatinate-Zweibrücken. She had two brothers and a sister, named Frederick William The 3., Wilhelm and Augusta.  She was the second oldest of the four children. She had a half-sister named Frederica Charlotte.  She died at the age of 62 on October 12th, 1837.
