Henry The 1., known as Henry Beauclerc, was born in 1068.  Henry Beauclerc's father was King William (The Conqueror) of House Normandy and his mother was Queen Consort Mathilda.  His paternal grandparents were Duke Robert (The Magnificent) of House Normandy and Lady Herleva; his maternal grandparents were Count Baldwin The 5. of House Flanders and Countess Adela (The Holy and Adela of Messines) of House Capet. He had a brother and a sister, named William Rufus and Adela.  He was the youngest of the three children.  He died at the age of 67 on December 1st, 1135.
