Deros' father was Jeron Melcom and his mother was Hemona Melcom (neé Swyft).  His paternal grandparents were <Unknown> and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Tommard Swyft and Falyse Swyft (neé Reyne). He had a brother and a sister, named Janden and Mara. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Baran, Dorik and Rolessa.
