Leslie (Stanley) Thomas Groves

Leslie, known as Stanley, was born in May 1900 in Wandsworth, London, England. Stanley's father was Henry William Groves and his mother was Deborah (Ellen) Easter. His paternal grandparents were William Henry Groves and Faithfull Caroline Croucher; his maternal grandparents were William Samuel Easter and Deborah Susannah. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William, Stanley, Reginald, Gladys, Trilby and Ellen. He was the second youngest of the seven children.
