Thomas was born about 1679 in Margate, Kent, England and his christening took place on June 22nd, 1679 in St. John the Baptist, Margate, Kent, England.  Thomas' father was Richard Castle and his mother was Ann.  His paternal grandparents were Richard Castle and Elizabeth Tomling. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John, Richard, Elizabeth, Sarah, Marie and Ann.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.  He died in 1738 in Margate, Kent, England.  The funeral took place on April 5th, 1738 in St. John the Baptist, Margate, Kent, England.
