George Macklin

George was born about 1831 in Battersea, Surrey, England.¹ George's father was Walter Macklin and his mother was Elizabeth or Sarah Littlejohn. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Walter, Cornelius, Reuben, Catherine, Sarah, Elizabeth, Amelia and Louisa. He was the seventh oldest of the nine children.
