Ellen WHITTLE

Ellen was born about 1863 in Wigan.¹ Ellen's father was Joseph Whittle and her mother was Nancy THOMASON. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Whittle and Mary (Whittle); her maternal grandparents were JONATHAN THOMASON and MARY HIGSON. She had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Thomas, Henry, Amelia and Mary. She was the second oldest of the six known children.
