Ralph W. WHITTLE

Ralph was born about 1887 in Lanchester, Co. Durham.¹ Ralph's father was John WHITTLE and his mother was Mary Ann Walker. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Whittle and Nancy THOMASON; his maternal grandparents were Ralph Walker and Jane Moses. He had a brother and three sisters, named Joseph, Elizabeth, Amelia and Nancy. He was the fourth oldest of the five known children.
