Peter was born on July 16th, 1685.  Peter's father was Giles Higson and his mother was Anna Farneworth.  His paternal grandfather was George Higson and his paternal grandmother is <Unknown>.  He had seven brothers and seven sisters, named George, Jacob, Richard, Giles, Jacobi, Richard, John, Priscilla, Margareta, Martha, Dorothea, Margareta, Alice and Eleanor.  He was the eleventh oldest of the fifteen children.
