Alice was born on December 24th, 1682.  Alice's father was Giles Higson and her mother was Anna Farneworth.  Her paternal grandfather was George Higson and her paternal grandmother is <Unknown>.  She had eight brothers and six sisters, named George, Jacob, Richard, Peter, Giles, Jacobi, Richard, John, Priscilla, Margareta, Martha, Dorothea, Margareta and Eleanor.  She was the nineth oldest of the fifteen children.
