Ramon was born on February 22nd, 1870 in El Palau d'Anglesola (Pla d'Urgell). Lleida. Catalunya. and his baptism took place on February 24th, 1870 at El Palau d'Anglesola (Pla d'Urgell). Lleida. Catalunya. Església de Sant Joan Baptista conducted by Dean Francisco Solà.  His godfathers were Ramon Morlans, pagès, casat de Puiggròs and his godmothers were Francisca Miró, casada, tieta d'El Palau.  Ramon's father was Jaume Miró Granell and his mother was Raimunda Tribó Tarragó.  His paternal grandparents were Josep Miró Yyyy and Maria Granell Yyyy; his maternal grandparents were Josep A. Tribó Camí and Raimunda Tarragó Borràs. He had a brother and two sisters, named Josep, Josefa and Josefa.  He was the youngest of the four children.
