Maria Mercader Vadell

Maria was born on November 6th, 1855 at Geltrú, Vilanova i la Geltrú (Garraf). Barcelona. Catalunya. Santa Maria de Geltrú and her baptism took place on November 7th, 1855.  Maria's father was Pau Mercader Aloma and her mother was Antònia Vadell Soler.  Her paternal grandparents were Josep Mercader Yyyy and Maria Aloma Yyyy; her maternal grandparents were Bartolomé Vadell Yyyy and Marina Soler Yyyy. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Gregorio, Joan, Lluïsa, Antònia, Maria and Marina.  She was the oldest of the seven children.
