John Sprecher

John was born on May 27th, 1879 in Josephdorf, Bessarabia, Russia (now Ukraine).¹

John's father was Gottlieb Reinhold Sprecher and his mother was Karolina Hille (Sprecher). His paternal grandparents were Friedrich Jon “Fred” Sprecher and Louise “Christine” Gruning (Sprecher) Grunning. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Daniel, Admont, Edward, Fredrich, Friedricka, Christina, Magdalina, Salome and Bertha. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He had a half-brother named Emanuel. He died at the age of 52 in 1931 in Parkston, Hutchinson County, South Dakota, USA.¹
