William Shaw

William was born on February 23rd, 1750 in Richland Township, Bucks county, Pennsylvania, USA.¹ William's father was Samuel Shaw Sr. and his mother was Mary Nixon (Shaw). His paternal grandparents were Abraham Shaw and Deborah ? (Shaw); his maternal grandparents were William Nixon and Mary Pettit (Nixon). He had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Joseph, Samuel, Moses, Hannah and Mary. He was the fifth oldest of the seven known children. He died at the age of 68 on June 17th, 1818 in Richland Township, Bucks county, Pennsylvania, USA.¹
