James Motion

James was born on March 30th, 1817 in St. Andrews and St. Leonards. James' father was James Motion and his mother was Isabella Stark. His paternal grandparents were George Motion and Magdelene Bell; his maternal grandparents were James Stark and Margaret Thomson. He had five sisters named Margaret, Magdaline, Isabella, Elizabeth and Euphemia. He was the second oldest of the six children.
