James Motion

James was born on September 10th, 1786 in St. Andrews and St. Leonards. James' father was George Motion and his mother was Magdelene Bell. His paternal grandparents were James Motion and Elspeth Melvin. He had three brothers and two sisters, named George, Thomas, Andrew, Margaret and Maddaline. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 63 on January 22nd, 1850 in St. Andrews and St. Leonards.
